Welcome to the Nordic Team Gym Championships Junior 2026
On behalf of Sola Turn, it is a great honour and privilege to welcome you all to the Nordic Team Gym Championships for Juniors here in Sola.
We are incredibly proud to have been awarded this prestigious event. Over the years, Sola Turn has successfully hosted a number of competitions at local, regional and national level, including Norwegian Championships. To now be entrusted with a Nordic Championship is truly a milestone for our club – and a recognition of the work and dedication that has been put in over time.
An event like this would not be possible without the extraordinary efforts of our volunteers. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributes their time and energy to Sola Turn. Your commitment and tireless work form the foundation of both our club and this championship.
We are very much looking forward to seeing the many talented gymnasts who have travelled to Sola to compete. For a long time, we have worked with great dedication to ensure the best possible conditions for both athletes and spectators, and we hope you will all have a memorable experience during your stay.
I would also like to express our appreciation to the Norwegian Federation for awarding us this event, as well as to Sola kommune, our sponsors and partners for their valuable support.
Finally, to all the gymnasts taking the floor on Saturday: perform at your best, support each other, and most importantly – have tons of fun!
Welcome to Sola, and best of luck to everyone!

Welcome to Sola!

Our region offers beautiful sandy beaches, a vibrant cultural life and excellent facilities for sports and recreation. We take great pride in being a place where people of all ages can be active, connect and thrive.
Hosting an event of this calibre is both an honour and a source of pride for Sola. Their efforts ensure that both participants and spectators will experience a professional and memorable championship.
I hope you all take the opportunity to enjoy everything Sola has to offer during your stay, both inside and outside the arena.
To all the gymnasts: I wish you the very best of luck in the competition. May you perform with confidence, enjoy the moment and take pride in representing your teams and countries.

Welcome, all TeamGym friends!
The Norwegian Gymnastics Federation and its TeamGym Committee are proud to welcome you all to the Nordic Championship in TeamGym for juniors 2026. We are pleased to welcome the nordic community of TeamGym to be gathered here on Norwegian soil once again. Last time was in 2019 in Drammen.
TeamGym is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the Norwegian gymnastics federation, and old or young, beginners or experienced gymnasts, can find their level in TeamGym. The diversity of this discipline is just one of many things that makes this sport so attractive.
Today we will witness the highest level of TeamGym, and they all have one thing in common, to perform at the best of their ability when it counts the most. I have competed and judged in several championships in artistic gymnastics. I know the excitement, and what it means to reach your potential in a championship like this.
We are pleased to cooperate with Sola Turn in organising this championship. We all know how much resources are required when a championship is to be organized. The federation would like to extend a big thank you to Sola Turn and all their volunteers who contribute to ensuring that this is guaranteed to be a memorable championship.
With these words we welcome our Nordic guests, and all of you – the spectators. Lets all enjoy this fantastic Championship and at the end of the day we will celebrate the new Nordic Champions in TeamGym.

Torgeir Røinås Pedersen
President Norwegian Gymnastics Federation
